(Nov. 13, 2006) - Aztek Networks, the industry's top provider of Emergency Stand Alone (ESA) switching and IP gateway products, today named Robert W. Picker as Vice President of Global Sales. Picker joins the Aztek management team and is leading the company's strategic sales initiatives and execution to drive revenue growth and profitability worldwide. Picker brings more than 20 years of sales, marketing and business development experience to his new role at Aztek Networks. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at World Wide Packets, a provider of carrier Ethernet solutions. His background also includes sales and marketing roles with Carrier Access Corp., a manufacturer of multi-service digital access technology for the competitive carrier market, and Sync Research, a developer of access and management solutions for frame relay and other cooperative network services. Previously, Picker served in corporate account management at IBM Corp. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado.
