5000SL ESA Switch

Aztek Networks’ 5000SL ESA switch allows carriers to enhance network reliability in areas where the 5000S is not cost effective. It is virtually identical to the 5000S with half the network interfaces. The 5000SL is field cabinet ready and is capable of seamless interoperability with any GR-303 access element or host switch.

The Aztek Networks 5000SL continuously monitors the signal between a host switch and an access device such as a DLC, BLC or MSAP, and becomes the active switching element only if the signaling link between the host switch and the access device becomes inactive.
